Priyanka Chopra takes a massive risk playing Jhilmil, an autistic woman. It is a difficult role that could have easily slipped into caricature, but Chopra handles it with a restrained, childlike innocence that is heartbreaking to watch. Her chemistry with Ranbir is unconventional but electric in its shared vulnerability.
