Released in 1977 and directed by Sisworo Gautama Putra (a master of Indonesian horror), the film tells the story of a wealthy man who is not content with what he has. Despite having a loving and devoted first wife, he decides to take a second wife (a "istri muda").
The new wife, however, is not who she appears to be. She uses black magic ( guna-guna ) to entrap the husband, turning him into a puppet while she slowly destroys the household.
