This paper investigates the role of fan-led subtitling communities in the reception of Korean drama (K-drama) in Vietnam, using the 2012 KBS2 series School 2013 as a primary case study. The term "Vietsub" refers to the practice of creating Vietnamese subtitles for foreign media.
