The story follows Nirupama, a nuclear oncologist in New York, who is dissatisfied with her marriage to an effeminate classical dance teacher, Viswanathan. Suspecting him of an affair, she hires a private detective, only to uncover that her husband is not who he seems. The investigation leads her into a dangerous web involving an international terrorist cell led by Omar Qureshi (Rahul Bose) and reveals Viswanathan's past as an undercover Indian intelligence agent.
