In the annals of mathematical history, few stories are as poignant and astonishing as that of Srinivasa Ramanujan. The 2014 biographical film, Ramanujan , directed by Gnana Rajasekaran, remains one of the most respectful and moving cinematic tributes to the Indian mathematical prodigy. With Abhinay Vaddi (great-grandson of the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao) in the titular role and veteran actor Suhasini Maniratam as his mother, the film captures the essence of a man who saw equations as expressions of divine thought.
