The film parodies the legend of King Arthur’s quest to find the Holy Grail. After receiving a vision of God, Arthur and his knights—Sir Bedevere, Sir Lancelot, Sir Galahad, Sir Robin, and the oddly-named Sir Not-Appearing-in-This-Film—embark on a quest for the Grail. Their journey is thwarted by absurd obstacles: a murderous rabbit, a three-headed giant, French soldiers who taunt them from a castle, an enchanter named Tim, a Trojan Rabbit, a monster of the Lake of Caerbannog, and a persistent historian who is accidentally killed by a passing knight.
