Office volume license editions are required. If you have a Retail version of Office, you must first convert it to a Volume License edition using a "converter" or by reinstalling the VL version.
For newer versions of Windows and Office 365, activation is often handled automatically by simply signing into your Microsoft account. Office volume license editions are required
