Unlike the island-bound narratives of its predecessors, Madagascar 3 breaks the mold by taking the "Zoosters" to the continent. The story picks up with the group still stranded in Africa, desperate to return to their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo. Their journey takes them to Monte Carlo, where they attract the ire of the relentless animal control officer, Captain Chantel DuBois.
