There is a specific beauty to seeing the "unobtainables." Mew and Deoxys, the phantoms of the Advance generation, are often the hardest to acquire legitimately. In this file, they are simply there. They have no origin story of a distant island or a Nintendo event; they were willed into existence by a hex editor. This strips them of their mythology but restores them as playable characters. For a player who grew up seeing the "Faraway Place" text and never getting a ticket, this file is a form of closure.
