SophosZap is not intended for routine maintenance. Sophos strongly recommends using the standard product uninstaller first; SophosZap should only be employed when all other options have been exhausted. The tool uses heuristic methods to identify and strip away Sophos components—such as files, drivers, and registry entries—which carries a higher level of risk compared to standard procedures.
